Universal A and B is a professional fertilizer that contains all the macronutrients and trace elements needed to obtain excellent growth, flowering and fruition phases in hydroponic plants or soil systems. This kit has been developed by D. Vicente Martínez López, one of the world's leading experts in mineral nutrition and soilless cultivation.
It contains a low concentration of nitrogen and a high amount of each and every essential mineral and high-value microelements that plants need for correct physiological and metabolic functioning. Other fertilizers do not have these indispensable trace elements due to their high costs and do not reach the impeccable growing conditions offered by MyFertiPot. As trophobiosis theory tells us, this composition will reduce the appearance of pests and diseases in your cultivations, allowing them to grow quickly and evenly.
The MyFertiPot 3L fertilizer kit consists of:
UNIVERSAL A 1L: This component includes nitrogen, calcium and potassium. These are the nutrients that plants demand the most during their growth phase.
UNIVERSAL B 1L: This component includes phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, sulfur, boron, manganese, zinc, copper, iron, molybdenum and calcium. These nutrients are required in plants during flowering and fruition.
CROMATIC pH STABILIZER 1L: Is composed of nitrogen, phosphorus and a coloring agent that changes the water’s color to intense orange when the pH is stabilized at 5.5, which is the optimum value for plant nutrition.
Due to its concentration and high quality, a small amount of fertilizer will be sufficient to cover the nutritional needs of all kind of plants, allowing you to prepare up to 1000L of nutrient solution. It can be used in hydroponic cultivation systems (substrate hydroponics, aeroponics, floating roots) or on soil. It has the potency of a solid, concentrated fertilizer with the simplicity of applying liquid fertilizer.
MyFertiPot is very rich in micronutrients, preventing any type of nutritional deficiencies in your plants. You should not mix components A and B directly; they are divided for a good reason! If they are mixed without water, they react chemically and become blocked from each other, preventing the plants from absorbing them.
We recommend shaking the bottle well before use. For the correct use of our fertilizer, first place the dose of Universal A in the water and then Universal B with the recommended amounts for each kind of plant. After, add the chromatic pH stabilizer (pH down) until you obtain an intense orange color, the pH will remain stabilized at 5, 5 at this point. The optimum pH range for plant nutrition is between 5 and 7.
You will not need other fertilizers or special additives to get the plants to grow naturally during each and every one of their phases.
MyFertiPot fertilizer is suitable for all types of hydroponic cultivation systems, be they substrate hydroponics, aeroponics or floating roots, it also works very well on traditional cultivations where the growing medium is soil.
FIRST STEP: Fill a container with the amount of water you will use for irrigation. For the FIRST IRRIGATION of our MyPot® hydroponic system you will need more water than for the subsequent ones, as you must consider that each MyPot® planting module stores 4L of nutrient solution and the perlite absorbs approximately 2L of liquid during the first irrigation.
Thus, for the FIRST WATERING you will need to prepare a total of 6 L per MyPot® planting module and 14 L per Mypot® deposit module. For example, for the first irrigation of a MyPot® hydroponic Cultivation Table, you will need to prepare 20L of nutrient solution and 26L for the hydroponic vertical orchard Tower Model and Column Model. In the NEXT IRRIGATION, you only have to fill the tank module, so you only have to prepare around 14L of nutrient solution
SECOND STEP: Add the appropriate amount of Universal A and Universal B fertilizer to the container according to the type of plants. (See recommended fertilization table)
THIRD STEP: Gradually add the CHROMATIC pH STABILIZER to the water until it becomes intense orange. Each type of water will need a different amount of stabilizer, usually around 1mL / L, but when using the same quality of water, you will require the same amount of pH stabilizer. If you use too much stabilizer, the pH will become too low and reach a red-fuchsia colour, add more water until it turns orange.
FOURTH STEP: Pour the fertilizer into the MyPot® hydroponic cultivation system’s tank. The growing table, vertical garden or vertical kitchen garden’s plants will grow strong and vigorous. If for any reason you have left over nutrient solution, you can store it for a time in an opaque, lidded container for future irrigations.
